Default 96 EX brake conversion questions...

I'd like to add some rear disc brakes. some from a 2000 si posibly.

I'd have to change the brake master cylinder, which one? just an SI one?

also, what is the difference between the EX's front brakes and a 2000 SI front brake set? if i added SI rears is it necessary for the SI fronts too or is there much of a difference?

at the moment my engine is just a SOHC...

EX and Si fronts are identical. your EX doesnt already have rear discs....? The 2000 Si will swap just fine, and no you don't HAVE to change the master. You do need a 40/40 prop valve from a 2000 Si though.

+1 to what's been posted above. for now you don't have to swap MC's(although a 15/16 might feel good on that setup) but if you upgrade the fronts then you will want to look into upgrading the MC.

I got the si rear disc pieces, $150 for both! they got the cables and everything looks good.

So i need to get a 40/40 prop valve from a 2000 Si now before i install??

Also, when i was on my way to get the brakes i stopped and fueled up my civ and ended up talking to this other dude at the gas station and ended up getting a set of SI 7 spoke oem wheels!!! $150 for the set with lots of tred on the tires. Only problem is they had been spray painted black. How do i get the black paint off? any suggestions?
