I have a thread going.. but Ofc17 decided to whore it... and also figured I may get more exposure here. Anyone know how to do a 60/40 to a 50/50 rear seat conversion? I may be getting a 01 "teg seats and was told that it would have to be switched. Any tips would be greatly appriciated

Default nuther question

I have a 95 EX:

The window trim pieces that border the bottom of the driver and passenger side windows is flaking black coating off. Can those be easily replaced? If so how much would it cost for parts?

I have some paint fade on the top of my car by the sunroof. Is there any commercial product that will take it out or would I need a respray? I have ried Mother's, Meguiars and Turtle products to no avail.

It's been a while since I was last in Imports, do they still make "indiglow" style dash gagues or do they call them something else now?

I'm sure there will be more. Coolest thread ever.

Is it the weather stripping that is sealing the window from the outside? If so, its very easy and pretty noncostly to replace, in fact most swapmeets you goto in CA you can find several guys and thats all they sell, is weatherstripping for diff companies of cars

Default What's all of it mean?

What does EG, EK and all of that stand for. I think it stands for different Civics, but what means what?

Minor differences usually, like the DX doesnt have power windows or locks, but the higher ones up do. Price differences too, just usually added features.

he said eg and ek, not lx and dx.

the difference is model years. eg is 92-95 model, ek is the 96-00 model, ef is 88-91 model. there are a ton of others (a list is posted on here) too.

I have a 93 civic dx. I'd like to do something to make the front corner lights look less plain. I've searched and found several diy's but none seem like they'd quite work for my car, because theyre all plastic or that ugly shot glass looking thing in them. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

After I stall my SI cd player, and then punch in the code, then what button do I push when I'm done?
