Engine stopped running while I was driving the car...Any suggestions to the cause ?

lol raiden u mite be a fuckin mechanic i dont give a fuck and if engine runs outta oil it can just sit there without making any noises too when it happened to my car neither of them made any noise at all

^ that's why you check your oil periodically and immediately shut it off if the oil light ever comes on.

Alright, I admit i might be wrong but u dont have to be such a douche about it... I never said it could have snapped... On my 3000gt, I was driving and the SAME EXACT SYMPTOMS occurred. My timing belt was worn, It skipped one tooth, the crank sensor realized this and shut off the motor. I had to replace the belt, re-tension it, before my car would start again. I could be totally wrong, I was just saying the same symptoms occurred to me..... The car would turn over, it sounded perfectly fine, plenty of fuel, plenty of spark, would not start however..
