Default big brake kit

is it worth for me to get a big brake kit? i think everything is included. he said

"i think its 88-00 and also will fit acura integra 94+ with the other braket.comes with 11 inch rotors and top hats already mounted, four piston wilwood calipers,a set of brackets to fit on civic and a set for the integras, hawk pads, and stainless steel brake line.i just mounted.didnt hook them up.i bought them off another guy.i also gave the calipers a coat of black paint to make them look beter because the had some scratch.recomended use of wheel is 17" but i think some have gotten way with 16".aksing 350"

is this a good deal? and can i keep my oem rims? or di i need to go bigger?

Most big brake kits require 17s for clearance. I personally don't think it's worth it to get a big brake kit on a Civic. Just get a Type R brake conversion, you'll need 5 lug rims but they can still be 15s.

if you dont have anything else done to your car to justify that drastic a change in your brakes then it isnt worth it. A simple change of pads and rotors can make a big difference to the stock set up

I think the next best thing you can do if you really want to upgrade your brakes is to just change your brake pads to a better performing one. I just recently bought the EBC green stuff brake pads from Autopartswarehouse.com and so far I am liking it. Performs better.

big brakes will not shorten the distance of stopping too dramatically, the greatest benefits come from heat dissipation and continual driving and braking scenarios
