Default maintaince questions

hi guys... i realized i am short on coolant. so which brand do you guys recommend and why? is there any difference? also, i was thinking about changing my transmission fluid to synthetic... my questions is... which one should i use? mobil 1?

I use the regular Prestone stuff in the yellow jug. 50/50 mix with distilled water + 1 bottle of Water Wetter. I would stick to Honda MTF.

Cost about 9 bucks and is red. Made by a company called Redline. It basically makes your engine run cooler. I used to use it on my motorcycle, gonna start using it in my Civic now too.

Water Wetter is like $4 from Pep Boys. $9 is a lot to pay for it. You can also get the Redline SFI fuel system cleaner from Pep Boys.

Water wetter basically makes the water freeze less.
So it absorbs more heat.

Thing is.. in FL, its not something you need
