but do you really need them? if you buy a good quality cf hood that the stock latching point and fits well whats the point?

no sure you don't REALLY need them.. i guess.... but if there was a 1% chance my hood would fly open crack my windshield and in turn destroy my $500 hood i would strongley suggest hood pins... and im SURE there is at least a 1% chance

more often than you think. Would you trust a little bit of fiberglass holding the latch down especially when the hood of your car acts like an airplane wing and creates lift.

I've had hood pins on my hood and I can see the hood shaking a bit.

why dont you just get a pair and have them powder coated.

carbon fiber is essentially glue and strands of cloth. strong glue and cloth, granted, but still, peace of mind is a valuable asset.
