Turn signal bulb question
Is there some sort of bulb or LED buld that regularly when on is white and when you want to use it as the turn signal it blinks orange? What I see by APC is a led light that has little lights all clear but, flash red when used.

What I wanted to know if there is a simular bulb that would do the same except white/orange all in 1 bulb.

They have some amber ones on that page.
I used LEDs in my tails for a long while and they just don't light up well in the daytime. They have just a dot instead of a broad light. I don't recommend them, but hey, it's your car.

Just wondering about these. The specs say that it glows red or amber depending on the light that you buy but, is it just red or just amber and thats it without red and amber togerther? Im basicly looking for 1 bulb that can do both colors. 1 to shine white normally and when I make a turn it blinks amber. Im also refering to the front signal lights.
i'm almost 100% sure that there's no such bulb that you're talking about.. the APC LED's ur talking about are clear when off, but colored when turned on/blinking.. however, ur idea sounds pretty
to me
to me
Honestly to me instead of me drilling in an extra hold in the headlight box just to add an amber bulb to turn on only when i use the turn signal, I would rather have 1 bulb do both. The LED bulb looks like a great way to do it with its potential yet there is none like you said that can shine 2 colors. Damn it all.
i would imagine in a dual filament bulb this would be very expensive as you would actually ahve to different bulbs in one essaentially

Maybee expencive but, worth it in a way since my current situation is that in using clear signal lights now instead of amber. If the APC LED which flashes red is regularly clear then whats not to say that you can have the center part flash amber and the outer flash clear. I dont even use the signal lights, i only have them on to shine clear at night to match the headlights.
My only other route is to connect a small amber bulb in the box of the headlight that can be shown when flashed this way I can stay clear from all legalities.
Honestly I'm not into the orange with white look. I can dissconect the "always on" portion of the signal light wire but, it would then look as thoguh part of the light is burnt out. It's all about preferance.
