ok lets not whore up my thread.. with babble about snow and jacking cars.. lolumm there is black metal mesh inbetween the cable and a would be thief and we can argue all day about how they could just cut it.. SURE THEY CAN... they can ALSO pprobably pry the hood open with a screw driver since C/F is not the most secure thing in the world.. but i really do not fear thieves.. i live ina selcluded area so night time parking is safe.. and i can see my car all day at work.. = )

you can also pop it from the driver side wheelwell. the cable runs up on the inside of the black liner...but who cares..theives will get yoru car if they wanted it...they arent just gonna pop your hood to take my air filter.
