im tryign to understand what you wrote you worded it a little strange. but when you have a lot of modificatiosn and making a lot more power the clutch isnt going to be able to hold up to that drastic of a change.

that was the only slip i could find but best run so far is a 15.009 at 92

skunk 2 cam gears
dc sportr 4-1 header
tanabe super race exhaust
unorthodox race pully
no ac
no ps
removed dash put in 93"no bags"

oh yea that was on 17 inch tenzo r shu 4s..

Actually, the AEM offers a wideband O2 sensor that will make the computer auto-tune. Sure you have to do some basic tuning, but for the most part, once she is set up, it is smooth sailing. In fact, you could do this type of tuning on a country road.

im my civic hatch i ran a best of 15.82 w/ a d16z6 w/ header and exhaust. 60' in 2.42 on crappy clutch....

It's all kewl....We are all here to share our experience....That's really a pretty good time for a MR2...The hatch did pretty good too!

i think crucial might be a-lit-tle-jeal-ous, thats alright i understand, if i had spent that much money on a header and exhaust and only ran a 15.82, all we did to his car was take out some weight and tuned it. you guys no exhaust and headers arent necessarily the best for your cars, play around with some diameter changes in your intake system, you can create pressure pulses that will help your times a little. their are other cheaps ways to get good times also, just be creative and play around with home depot stuff.
