Default Rear underspoiler installation

I recently bought the Mugen Type R front chin spoiler and factory rear under spoiler. I tyried for fit the rear, and it did not clear my greddy evo, so i trimmed it. The problem is, I have trimmed it to what should be far enough, but when the rear spoiler in placed on it kind of sinks a little to brush up against the tip of the exhauast. I thought about using some sort of adhesive, but I do not want to use double sided tape bc it would put a gap in between the bumper and the spoiler. Do you know where I might be able to find the factory installation instructions? I have the one for the front, but was unable to find the rear from handa-accessories.com. It feels almost like it does not fit like it should. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah it is for a 98 ex coupe.

Here you go:
Instructions

I just installed my OEM rear lip about 2 weeks ago....it fit perfectly. I was amazed at how flush it fit. It was like it was made for the car  Are you sure you installed it right? If you did it right, you should have no problems with it sitting properly. Did you put all the step bolts in? Did you attach the adhesive tape properly?

I didn't have to trim anything....I just have my stock exhaust with an OEM exhaust tip. It should fit fine, and not hang at all...as long as you install it properly. I got mine from Handa-accessories.com . Luckily, they still had my color in stock...they only have my green and taffeta white left. The 99-'00s are totally out. I was really lucky to snatch mine up when I did. If you have any questions with the install, please feel free to hit me up. Its really easy though...it only took me like 2 hours from start to finish.

I just installed a 96-98 rear lip on my 99 bumper.... Had to take off all the metal clips on the lip to make it fit. I like it a lot!!!

you got any pics of that? I honestly like how the '96-'98 rear lips look better than the '99-'00s....they seem a bit more aggressive looking.

I'll take some tomorrow.... The rest of my car is hella dirty and the lip is all shiny and new... I agree with you though. The 96-98 lip is way more aggressive looking than the 99-00 lip.

Tap some screws on either side of where it sags. Do it on the bottom where you won't see th screw holes if you ever take it off.

I'm telling you....when you get it on there, it won't sag, as long as you install it properly...I promise you.
