its state to state. in wiskin its not _technically_ mandatory, but if you get in an accident you must be able to cover all costs, including law suits and medical if necessary. read: insurance good.

most states are mandatory, wiskin is not. they dont ask for POI when i get pulled over, or Proof of Ownership.

 

I'm in the military so it's required on base. Doesn't matter what you paid for the car either, just what kind of car it is. Ins should be really cheap, but my brother's been in a couple of accidents already and he's only 18... I'm a little skurred to give it to him cause I don't want him to wreck it.. but.. it was only $100.

I want my bro to have a civic.
That way I can help him if something goes wrong. I'll rebuild the motor before I give it to him. I'll have him pay me for the cost of parts. I won't lose money at all and because I get stuff at wholesale, I'll give him a super hookup on any of the mods he needs. I've got it all planned out.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow after work. I don't have a digital camera, but I'll do my best to get someone with one to hook me up or something. I might be able to borrow the one from work. I'll post some pics asap.

I couldn't get the digital camera today, but I did go look at it. It has a few problems: crack in the windshield (pretty long), hit something with the front right and broke the corner and scratched up the bumper and dented the fender a bit, driver door is a little dented (it was dark so it may have been worse).

The interior looks great. Motor is decently clean, just needs to be rebuilt.

Oh, and this is my 1000th post.
