Default Skunk 2 Rear Lower Arm Bar?

This is a lower tie bar correct? Anyone have it on their car? Likes or dislikes?

I thought the rear tie bar actually did something. I thought it was the rear strut bar that was worthless. I don't have either so I wouldn't know but thats just what I heard from several sources.

Mr. Charlie Grifter has a Skunk, I believe. They serve a function, which is to limit flexing of the subframe, which tightens up the overall feel of the car and makes it a bit more responsive. If you already have a good amount of suspension mods like higher rate springs, stiffer dampers, etc, you're probably not going to feel the difference with a lower tie bar. People throw them on expecting a night/day change in handling characteristics, and then say they're useless because they didn't "feel" a difference. Also, if you have a larger rear swaybar(cough cough ITR, etc) on a Civic, it has a decent chance of tearing out of the relatively weak subframe. A lower tie bar will help support the subframe and keep it from flexing, which will lessen the chance of tearout(it might still happen).

i got a skunk2 lower tie bar. as far as suspension, i got:

gsr skunk2 rate coilovers
koni yellows
gsr upper strut bar
skunk2 lower rear tie bar
oem front sway bar

i dont have a rear sway at all, but from ridin around in this setup, the response is great, so imagine if i get the upper rear strut and a rear sway. im happy with it.
