Default Neuspeed springs, anyone??

Yeah, before I order the sport springs I wanna know if there's anything I should look out for, or if I should go with a different brand, if there are any problems with neuspeed, just so I can have a heads up before I click "purchase". Thanks in advance everyone!

Neuspeed Sports on a 5G Civic lowered 2" in front and 1.25" in the rear (I took before and after measurements). The spring rate is matched well to the stock dampers, giving a comfortable daily driving ride.

However, the spring rate is too soft for that kind of drop. There's less suspension travel, and the car bottomed out easily. In steady state corners (hotlapping or Solo2) the tires (stock size) hit the fender liners. Even during something as simple as a U-turn, the tires would rub the fender liner.

If all you do is daily drive (ie, no spirited/competition driving) they are okay, but I'd recommend Eibach Pro-Kit over the Neuspeed Sports. Neuspeed advertised as 1.5" all around lowering, which was not the case.

Don't know if Neuspeed does this with all their products, but when I first lowered my ride, I used the Race (yellow) springs. It was cool at first, but I noticed that over time the driver side got slightly lower than the passenger side. Plus it didn't lower the front as much as I wanted it to be. I wanted it flush with my tire (at the time being, they were 205/40/16's) but it still left about a two finger gap. So I sold them for a set of skunks and tokicos.

I have Neuspeeds...Its 1.8 in the front and 1.5 in the back. My ride is really comfortable and not bumpy at all, except now it is cuz my shocks blew but i like them a lot.

yuck wtf???? I thought neuspeed was gonna get better reviews than this! Glad I waited I guess... sooo the consensus is eibach or tein or h&r instead? now I'm just looking for suggestions to eliminate the wheel well gap, and I don't want coilovers, thanks.

And xquisit (sp?) please post pics. I'd appreciate it.

There's a difference between the Sport and Race springs.
