ok here goes....started my car up the other day and was pulling out of a parking lot...went to punch it at my car started to sputter.....really hard...so i pulled over immediatley and popped the hood...big crack in my heater hose (from engine block to heater vavle/core) it was spewing coolant everywhere....got the hose replaced but it still sputters ( not as bad as it did before while the hose was leaking) went to autozone and they said change the plugs and wires...i did that and it still sputters....the thing is that it only sputters when i push on the gas pedal....sputters for a few seconds then drives normal....also sputters when i'm shifting gears...next thing i can think of is distributor....PS the car shop said that i need to replace my thermostat switch.....well if you understand this whole shpeel please help me...i have no idea what to do cuz this has never happened to me before....my car ran perfectly before the heater hose cracked...

 

I'm not sure if this is relevent, but I just had an issue where I lost power, engine light came on, and I putted along at 40km an hour. Took it to a Honda dealer and they found the problem to be a Crank Shaft sensor.

 

probably just the coil going bad inside the distributor.
