Default Dynamat

I'm really tired of how loud my car is, especially with my exhaust so I'm wondering if anybody has used Dynamat lining in their Civic and how it performed for them. I understand it can add about 100lbs to the car, but I just drive my car daily and am not going to ever take it to the track. Even when I get a swap done, it will be done for my own personal enjoyment, not for racing. Point is, the weight doesn't matter. I just want to know how quiet/driveable I can make my car. Thanks

I actually did it on my 67 Camaro, and it was like night and day. I'm not sure how well it sticks to the roof, if you removed the headliner, but I'm planning on doing the same when I get the car painted. I used a heat gun to make it stick and mold even better.

There are other brands out there that are cheaper than Dynamat. Ebay has a few vendors. I think I might go with fatmat.

works great. I would prob steer clear of the off brands though. Personal preference though.

it's not just the exhaust. the car is just loud when at highway speeds. I have to turn the radio up really loud, have to yell to have conversations and people can't hear me on my bluetooth. I don't mind taking out the seats and carpet since I can just have the carpets steam cleaned while they are out (they are pretty dirty). In the end I'd have a much more comfortable daily driver and a cleaner car.

i can second that now that i am on my internship which consist of all highway miles the car is very noisy even under 70mph, its just a lot of road noise for me. maybe b/c i have bigger wheels or maybe the tires im running. but these older civics really dont have any cabin noise reduction at all. I just love how all the new cars are soo quiet. i got a ride from my friends 08 civic si sedan and he is already hitting 85 and i dont even notice tat we were going tat fast!
