Default camber fix

hi, i have a 97 civic ex coupe and the rear camber is (i think) is -2 just on the left side, i was doing so research about it and saw on some forum that people use washers to fix it. so my question is do it work? because i don't want to spend $140 on one side.

http://home.earthlink.net/~civicex95/rearcamber.html

thank you

I would think that if you were to go with washers they would eventually ware out and you would have the same prob. I would have them fixed with the camber kit.

Unless you have a very dramatic drop, a 4-wheel alignment will adjust your camber.

-2 degrees of camber is nothing to worry about. Get the toe aligned and you'll be just fine.

Stop giving out wrong information. Honda Civics are not camber adjustable from factory you have to purchase a camber kit in order to adjust camber. You can only adjust toe on Honda Civics.

Also if you are dropped no more than 2" your camber should be fine. What wears out tires is bad toe-in or toe-out. Get that set to 0 and you should be ok. Just rotate your tires every 3000-5000 miles.

Sorry, didnt know that. My shop told me that they'll adjust my camber when I was getting an alignment.
