Dodge Neon SRT-4
Yeah it was in straight line acceleration I was comparing. You can compare anything, numbers are numbers. And the GT's around here are quicker than the GT's everwhere else I suppose, because I've seen stock auto's hit mid 14's and the sticks hit low 14's before mods. And I haven't seen a 350Z at the track yet so I'm not sure about that one.

i love that 350z too. the guy who bought the first one in PA comes into my work all the time (or at least thats what the dealer told him which seems about right cause hes had it for about 2 months now and i still havent seen another one)
he has an enthusiest mode though, i want the track w/ the volks and brembo's

i find it interesting that the SCC artical states that the neon puts more power to the ground than it makes at the flywheel
that just crazy

What happened was that Dodge under rated the horsepower figures. So, when SCC dynoed the thing, it put out more power at the wheels than was claimed by Dodge at the flywheel. And as I mentioned previously, SCC said those dyno numbers should be available on the production models.
This car is going to kick our ass!

i think Honda often underrates their power, just not that much.
it will kick our ass till the 33k checkup...when most dodges start choking on their own incompetent workmanship. See: Kenosha, engine builders for Mopar.
think of it though, all the people that are going to have it are going to be little rich kids that have their parents buy stuff for them, They arent goin to know how to run a turboed car, the SRT-4 is fast and im scared but its going be in the shop to much cause of stupid little kids ******* up the car
