Default Official Brake and Light Adjustment Certificate Location??

I need an Official Brake and Light Adjustment Certificate from what seems like a special station, but I can't find any info on the DMV site or google. CHP or city police does not do this. If anyone knows a located please share. Thanks. I'm located in Ontario California

Do you have aftermarket headlights and taillights? If so, were you cited for having illegal lights? The only thing I can think of is that the lights are not DOT approved and they have cited you for having parts for off road use only. (not DOT approved). I am not sure where you can get certified as this is not a common citation. Most people usually get a "fix it" ticket which they just replace with their stock lights to have it written off.

No it's not a joke.. But I found a shop in Chino that can provide me the certificate for $90.00... What this mean is when you restore back to normal a total lost vehicle and apply for a savage title you need to get a brake and light inspection certificate from a authorize shop. The certificates states that the repair shop have check and spec all your lights and brakes to make sure they’re in working condition. With out this certificate you can not complete the car registration and apply for car insurance. More info at DMV website below.

so basically you are restoring a salvaged title and they need to make sure that all lights are in working order?

...i believe myself and randomtask thought you had aftermarket lights that were not certified for street use.

Yes, that's correct. I'm restoring a salvaged title, my wrx was stolen while back and insurance didn't want to fix it, so they paid me out and I purchase the car back and just finish restoring it. Here's the numbers to the shop if anyone is doing an brake and light inspection.
