wierd... i have a d15b7 (93 cx) and a b16a 2nd gen obd1. the cap and rotor are def. interchangeable. the coils have the same part # too. icm *looks* the same, but i didnt change those. the were a couple of manufacuturers for distributers, maybe i lucked out and got 2 of the same brand.

No, but no air won't get in there. Ever tried starting a fire with flint and steel? It won't start unless you blow on it. Also, if you're intake cam is off, you're dist. timing will be off resulting in weak spark. Just check it.

If you put your timing belt back on yourself, you may want to make absolutely sure it's not a tooth or two off as well, that would cause it not to start.
