38-40mpg on a 5sp D16Z6 w/ 11.9gallon fuel tank. I got over 400 miles a tank on two occasions, and usually fill up at 360-370miles a tank, with 1-2 gallons left (guesstimate from when the pump shuts off).

HOW!? I have a D16Z6 too . I fill up about 9.8-10 per tank and get ~210.

About 30-32 mpg mostly city from an ailing D16z6 powered sedan.

I get high 30s if I'm on the freeway more.

My engine has over 165,000 miles, and is about 8 years old. Keep the engine in good running order, and adjust your driving style. I regularly hotlap and autocross too. Worst mileage was 11mpg after a full day of hotlapping Streets of Willow.

And guess what...

...I use ARCO gasoline. No lie! Been using mainly ARCO for the 8 years I've had my car (there's a station down the street from where I live).

So don't believe the hype about ARCO messing up your engine.

all on premium.

you are teh stupid for running premium.

Premium just has a less resistance to premature combustion, which is needed in higher compression, higher HP engines.

You are not burning all the fuel, and that is why your fuel economy sucks.

run a fuel system cleaner through a tank or 3 of regular, then run regular for a month or two, and you'll see.
