Default tire presure??

just wondering what tire presure i should be running on my 95 civic EX with 205/40zr/17kumho tires on it.

the steering has gotten really bad on it. i slammed into a raised manhole a few weeks back and just recently has the steering gone on it...it feels as if i have no control it steers by its self almost. any help beside tire presure!!!

Thanks

About 4psi lower than max pressure as stated on the tire. Sounds like you need an alignment

35 psi on 40 series seems to low. What shop told you that?

you also gotta remember while driving, friction expands the tires and space, so while driving its about 40+psi.

Higher pressures will help protect your rims from potholes and curb damage. I used 40-42psi which yes it wil be a rougher ride, but save you money in the long run and also up your mpg a bit too.
