Default Tire Size

I have a 96 honda civic, and i'm poor i'm on stock rims and tires and i was curious if the stock rims were the same size as rota subzeros, so that i could get new tires now, and switch them to the new rims when i get them and have more money

Rota Subzero Cast 15x6.5

195/50 or 205/50. I have 205/50 on my Si wheels. What size are your stock wheels? 14's?

I'm assuming your stock wheels are 15 x 6. So to answer your question, yes, you can put new tires on the wheels you have now and switch them over when you get your rotas. Get 195/50 or 205/50's.

if you're right about the stock rims only being 6 inches wide, then what about that extra half an inch of space on the rim

The correct tire size is 195/55x15" not 195/50x15".

But yes your tires will fit the 15x6.5" wheels.
