don't they mean for cars with high mileage? I use redline 5w-30 and change it every 4000-5000 miles. I wouldn't trust any other oils to go that long without changing.

Right high mileage means cars with high mileage high mileage cars have thinner/worn out seals, which oil can blow by.

I wouldn't use it, just a way to charge you more per quart. It's probably the same as the regular GTX.

Im using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic every 6,000. Is that too long or short or just right when changing the oil?

I did every 3000 when I was NA. Now I do every 1500-2000miles.

I change the oil in my civic every month even if I only drive 100 miles. I'm just crazy paranoid about ruining another B16A.

There used to be an oil expert who frequented the site. After the crash, he really hasn't come back. His name was Bror something...

Anyway, he highly recommened Valvoline High Mileage oil because it still used some of the purer base/stock oil stuff, etc... He posted enough tons and tons of info on it. Ever since Mobil 1 chanegd their formula, he wasn't as confident in them. (I still use it though ) I don't know about the rest of the High Mileage brands, but Valvoline High Mileage is definitely  by him and I'll take his word on it... I use it when I change the oil in my old 94 LS Integra with 90K on it...

it works beautifully, I actually have friends that work at VIOC and it claims to help. If it's any testament, all of the people that work there use it in their old domestics, and they keep tickin away.
