buying a 96 civic ex for 3200 dollars,89000miles do i need to change the timing belt after purchase immediately

You should probably do a complete tuneup with it like oil change, plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor..maintenance stuff like that.

Id say its definitely a good buy, rarely do you find that car with such milage.

89000 will be alot of tune up do you think,etc timing belt.

You should find out when the timing belt was changed. If it hasnt been then Id recommend to change timing belt, waterpump, check all other belts, tune up, oil change, tranny oil change.
