Default a little x-mas gift for my self :o

decided to say fuck it and pic up my spring shoes right now....They will be going down to my very best powdercoating buddy when I take him back his DART block and snag up the turbo manifold.

Nice!!!!!!

How heavy are the rims now, and how heavy will they be when they're powder coated? I'm new to fwd, but I've learned that too light a wheel can be dangerous, and too short a tire can cause more sliding, than traction.

How's your setup going to be?

car is staying black
15x7 - I plan on eating up alot of tires, and 15s are teh cheaper. Plus I am a fan of 15s.
they are getting powdercoated to match the gold color that the words "Sparco" are written in on the center caps if you can make it out from the picture.

this weeks arrivals were - Vibrant 2.5 muffler flat black, integra rear disc conversion with e-brake cables, beaks kit, ITR sway bar, Si end links, Blox LCA's, Sparco RR rims.

pending purchase - mugen strut tower bar for a good price, front Si lower control arms with front sway bar, HASport K series mounts, Hybrid racing engine PnP harness, k20aR rods/pistons.

I have decided to slap the k20a2 together and put it in the car and drive that while I do a forged build on the k24 block I have laying around. I am dropping a block off at DART for Tony (running925) tomorrow and talkin to them about pricing on sleeving the k24. h:

agreed. Whenever your DART block is done I'll make another pilgrimage down to OH. One of the wheels has a slight bend which I am gonna get fixed. I also need to repolish the lip/inside of the rims...should I do this before or after we paint/pc them?

you can re-polish prior to doing the wheels if you have some free time. We'll have to paint those to preserve the nice surface to the polished lip, but we'll use some good stuff & it will hold up well.

I can't wait to see my dart block all refreshed. I'm sure they will be calling me after they inspect the block so that i can tell them what sleeves to put back in and spec's to the pistons & what not.
