rear speaker deck rattling on bass
i just have the factory speakers in my 97 civic coupe. and even on certain bass notes the the rear deck seems to rattle/buzz... but other times it sounds fine..
is this a common problem? and what should i do to fix it. I understand dynamat will reduce road noise. but i need to stop this prob.

they couldnt answer your question
and this belings in audio
get better speakers BTW
either your speakers are blown, which is very likely as the stock speakers are very cheap
or your rear dash area has popped loose and rattles against the window, which is what happened to my sedan and was loud and annoying as hell
regardless turn the music up, crawl in the back seat and start pressing on stuff and find the rattle, its not exactly rocket science

Similar problem on my car, the stockers were blown to fuck (constantly open windows and dusty conditions isn't good for cars people! :upset
Now I've got old, but in decent shape, 80w replacements in there. At first any base made tons of noise, at first I thought maybe the mounting screws were loose (since you can only get them so tight without a helper) but after a couple days it's better  Bolts and screws are all still tight so I dunno.
If you take the covers off, it's real easy to shove foam, etc. in between the frame and the deck. Also possible that putting some sort of thin foam or rubber between the speakers themselves and where they mount would help a little.
