Default How to remove sticker from bumper?

I have a parking permit from a couple of years ago that is really stuck on my rear bumper. Is there some kind of chemical that I need to use to get it off that is safe for the paint and will not leave a residue?

Goo gone or any sort of adhesive remover. Just be careful when you're using a razor blade to remove it to not scratch your paint.

Ack! You don't use a razor blade anywhere near your paint. Only on glass. Just use Goo Gone and your finger nail.

The best way is to heat it up with a hair dryer or leave it out in the sun to make the glue get a little soft. Don't use a heat gun though as it will burn your paint.

I did it on my car and no scratches for me :dunno: Of course it took me about an hour to do it ever so carefully.
