yeah...
This project wasnt started right anyways...not much you could suggest other than start all over again or just enjoy what you have.
I would probably get the stock motor built, then turbo, thats the most rational route to go. I think if you decide to keep you I-H-E you should just keep that and dont waste money on nothing else. Ive seen too many people throw away money on useless upgrades and no power gains.

Like Tony said, chipping the ECU won't do you any good unless you significantly alter the engine's air-moving capabilities... and we're not talking I/H/E here, more like ported head, larger cams and raised compression.

BUT, if you're worried about budget, there is no real need to build your stock motor for turbo (assuming its still in good shape, good compression numbers & up to date on maintenance). The d16z6 can handle a fair dose of boost out of the box... certainly enough to put a big smile on your face. IMO if you're going through the expense of building the motor, you might as well swap to B-series. If you wanna have fun on the cheap, just boost the z6.

I went and ordered a complete greddy turbo kit. I wasn't going to bother but I did some research and they discontinued that specific kit. $1100 cash money.Installing a turbo is a bit out of my knowledge so a local shop Axiom installing it. Thanks for yalls suggestions

you got a good price for that kit. You could probably do it yourself if put a little research into it. That turbo kit will give the D some nice pickup

Nice price on the kit but i would suggest getting some better oil lines, the greddy kits are notorius for the ones that come with it to crap out
