New Member - red yr2000 ex - opinions nessesary
Hi there people
Thanks for the resources. Its an incredible amount if information that is contained here. Its a credit to what the internet is good at.
I have been gifted a year 2000 civic ex coupe. Its got a manual and I know its been lightly driven. I want to keep it mostly stock and run it as a second street/autocross kind of thing. Its actually a hoot to throw around as is, but not very fast. I want to keep it after seeing how cheap civic parts can be via craigslist/ebay/whatever
Your opinions would be welcome, so heres the plan.
Same year SI wheels with sticky rubber
A decent seat/harness
Tie off power steering (dump pump)
Shocks/Springs 4 corners
Serious tune up
Intake
Budget $1300
CAN IT BE DONE?
Speaking of tune-ups, can any one recommend a Honda specialist in the San Fran Valley? Or some mechanic unnaturally talented with SOHC's?
