I bet once those welds are grinded down and teh car is painted one solid color, it'll look great. I see a work in progress... but try to paint it soon.

Lots of people will bust your chops until thats done, and that's just how it will be. There is a '70 Nova running around my hood with a primered paint job for so long it rusted through. Dude just went and painted some shiny metallic blue flames on it and left it rusty. What a piece, but it's funny as hell.

actually its funny wat had happened cuz my integra's motor blew and i got the civic for free... then somebody that wanted the tranny from the integra offered to do the front end conversion for me for the tranny... and he did it for free no problems it was a pretty sweet weekend gettin the car and then the front end done for nothing lol so cost is to a minimum.. just need that paint job desperately and need to finish grinding and such... but after that im thinking maybe a championship white or a nice gloss finish... any suggestions on color?

My suggestion is go to a body shop and browse a paint chip book of factory colors. That's how I picked the color on my GSX, and it came out better than I could have imagined, + you can go to a dealer in any city and get touch up paint. Pick one you like.

You would never guess what it is, and no other manufacturer has anything like it.

Paint is what's going to wind up costing you, but if you want that done right, it's all in the preparation before its painted. You've got a lot of work left to get done, and you need to stay on that guy to help you finish it up. I ain't bustin' your balls. Check out some of the Mercedes silvers. Once it's filled, block sanded, and sealed properly, that would look amazing. Don't bother looking at on-line samples. Look at the chip books and get a sample before they spray your car no matter what color you choose.

Hahahah... Try 1 page back from that. It's actually black.

If you bought your car as Electron Blue Pearl... good for you, go with it and at least it's painted well. But if you're building something that nobody has, don't paint it with something everyone already did. Electron Blue Pearl is the first thing everyone imagines whether or not they will admit it. You'll take one look at a chip book, change your mind a thousand times and end up with metallic butter or some shit, trust me. You'd better have plentyof $ if you want your door jambs or innards to match.

Once you get it painted and shaven(door handles are civic and shave the trim) it will look real nice.

paint it GSR black. GSR paint has the metallic red and gold in it. I love mine.
I like the OEM look. JDM is too played out.

Your doing a good job. Keep up the good work. Take more pics and keep us updated.

BTW-auto or stick
