Default 1993 Civic Power Window issues

I have been having problems with the power windows on my 1993 Honda Civic LX 4 Door car, it started when the front passenger window would sometimes not go up or down and then when I would power down my drivers side window all the way the passenger window would all of a sudden go up and down. Unfortunately the problem has worsened and now sometimes the drivers side window will stop working. I removed the door panel and clean the contacts and reseated the connector to the master window switch a few times and the passenger window worked for a short while, but then simply stopped working and then will work again or will work but the passenger side window will stop working. I have just replaced the driver side master window switch, and the problem is still happening, so it wasn't the switch. Any idea's ?

First of all use the search button, this subject gets brought up at least once every few weeks and you'll find tons of posts about it. Id say its the window regulator, you either need to grease it up or replace it. Maybe your motor is weak and needs to b replaced, or maybe your window keeps slipping off the tracks.

Default power windows

I don't think it's the motor regulator because when I reseat the connector at the master window switch it will fix the problem and then later the issue happens again, do connectors go bad? Can they be taken apart to check the solder?

Just because you reseated the connector at the master switch and it fixes the problem only temporarily that does not completely rule out the the motor might have lost its strength as Line7 pointed out!
