Wrong. 94-97 GSR manifolds have shorter collectors because the cat is further up than the 94-01 LS and 00-01 GSR. If worse comes to worse, the exhaust can be modified. The head flange is the same, though.

Solid build. How much did you pick up those valvesprings for? I am looking for a set for my build.

 

well i got the motor together now. After i got it done i got so gitty seeing it coming to end soon.

 

the exhaust will physically bolt up to the head, which was what I thought he was getting at. alot of people assume because the intake manifold is a different pattern that the exhaust manifold is different as well. Also for some reason I though he was talking about an aftermarket header not a stock one. h: and Generally aftermarket headers don't take into account differences in collector length for different years. They just make one header that fits all applications and you get to modify your exhaust to fit it.

 

I got the springs and retainers for 259 on ebay. I picked up a 4-1 Ceramic coated header off ebay for a GSR

 

engine is comming together nicly!
