Default Civic 98 coupe please help

hi people great site , I was wondering if anybody could please help I’m new to this, I own a civic 98 coupe 3dr 1.6 non vtec (D16Y7) the manifold has gone, the exhaust is on its way out too, I just thought it would just be a new manifold and exhaust but just found out the cat converter is part of the manifold L
so what I was wondering if anybody knows how I can get around this little problem?

I was thinking if I buying this manifold

http://www.madmotors.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=827_830_861&products_id=944 8

and this exhaust

http://www.madmotors.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=827_830_861&products_id=387 0

this says this is a full catback so does that mean this has a cat built in the exhaust? And will my lamber sensor fit in there because the light on the dash would come back on and mess up my fuel again (iv just replaced the sensor and all is fine again J ) and I cant do anything with the ECU to fix it well I don’t think?

Or have you got any ideas what I can get?

thanks

well most of the time you have to buy the cat seperate cause full catback normaly means just from the cat on your car all the way back to the muffler so you might have to buy a new cat but my friend put a test pipe where his cat was to get away from the same problem you have and his sensor fit fine.

test get a MIL eliminator for the secondary o2 sensor and then toss a test pipe in. That is if you don't have emissions testing.

if you can turn a wrench whilst holding a nut with another wrench...then you have the necessary skills needed.

There are no emissions-legal manifolds that deviate from the stock design. I don't know if they do testing or anything there in UK for that, but in any case there are no high-flow aftermarket cats or test pipes made specifically for the d16y7.
There are plenty of headers made that will fit, but they are made for the VTEC model and will relocate the converter down under the car so you would have to get the converter made for the sohc VTEC (in the US it is d16y8).

Also I'm confused, you said you have a "coupe 3dr". 3dr here is the hatchback model and coupe is the 2dr with trunklid...I mean a "boot"!!! This determines what "catback" exhausts are available for your car.
