Default needs ideas for a swap

within the next couple of weeks i will buying a 93 civic ex. i am getting it a very cheap price, $1500 to be exact, and will have some left over spending cash. so, here is my question. i want to do a swap out on the motor. i would like suggestions on what motor i should put in it. i have not decided wether or not i want to be boosted or not. chances are that in the future i will want to add boost and maybe even a bottle or two. if i can just get some opinions and suggestions as to wether i should go with like the b18, or a spoon engine or a jg engine dynamics engine. or if there is anything else i need to know. also, would it be better just to put a h22 in it?

b18b for the boost option. They're cheap and very nice for turbocharging. Good luck

B16 (SiR), B18 (GSR) or H22 (Lude)

me myself.. im a B18 type brotha..

H22 is a little much for a small ass civic, mo power mo problems

b18b1 to get you started and if you crave more either go boost or get a VTEC head.

well, to answer your question txhatch. yes, to a point i am. to the point that i started the forum by jezter, and asked one question, then my little brother who just got his ass beat by me started a bunch of **** when i was out of town. which lead to me getting banned from ht. but, if you go there now, you will see a forum started by myself, which is basically an apology for what happenned. but anyways, back to the forum at hand here. it seems that the general concensus here is to go with the b18 because it is affordable, and easy swap, and is better for boost. is that correct?

is correct, b16s have been pricey lately. B18bs are cheap and are torquey
