Default Another P08 question

I bought a P08 from a guy for $10 off of Craigs List. He wanted $120, I beat him to $75. I go to pick it up, put it in my car, and it immediately runs rough and throws a code. I didn't wait to check the code, I just took the fugger out asap. He wanted to get rid of it, so I gave him $10 for it.

Anyways, you guys think it's safe to find out what's wrong with it by put it back in my car long enough to read the code? Reason I bought it is because it's the proper ecu for the jdm d15b vtec that's in my car, for those not familiar with it. It replaces the d16z6. My Car runs (knock on wood) great with the p28 in it now, but I wanted to see what the P08 would do. $10 isn't a bad deal if I can solve the code issue.

Also, the jdm motor has a 1-wire O2, and the USDM a 4-wire. I have the 4-wire in the car now, and it's happy with it. Will the P08 trip with the 4-wire 02?

Thanks in advance. sorry if I wasn't clear about anything. It's late h:

Ok... I put it back in (felt pretty good this time). It threw this code:

Code 19

Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve defective circuit or unplugged / defective solenoid valve

My p28 was for an automatic and if I'm not mistaken, it threw this code until I removed RP17 and RP18. I can't find an RP17 or RP18 on this ECU. Anyone know what to do to rid this ECU of a code 19? for my 5-speed car?

Edit: Screw it. Hondata is in Torrance. I'll let them do it.

Nice!

I just got 323 miles to my last tank. I'm dying to see if having the proper ECU with the right fuel maps will make it even better If not, I'll just have an ecu to play with, like you said.
