fog light qustion
hey guys! i just wired up rhe fogs i got and my question is why does it only turn on when the headlights are on? is it possible to just turn on the fogs and not the headlights?

well it seems that you connected the fogs in series with the headlights!!!
your fogs should have come with the necessary wiring with switch to be turned on/off!!
I dont see why you should connect them with your headlights!

for the OP, this is because you should only use your fog lamps in conjunction with your headlamps when its foggy outside.

not sure if it's a legal issue. We had a 1993 pontiac bonneville and it had oem fogs and the would come on with just the parking lights if you wanted them to or you can have them on with the low beams.
