I'm new to the forum, and i'm green as far as imports go. Owner of a 92 eg.... I just blew the motor. Quick question. Looking to turbo in the future, which platform should i swap, and which set-up could i use to aquire as much natural whp as possible. Money Not being an option.

-If you plan on going turbo a gsr (b18c1) is a good choice
-For N/A power the type r (b18c5) would be a good choice but you would have to change the pistons to turbo.
-For more money you can swap in a k20a2 or k24, but that a good bit more complicated than the previous two mentioned but can yeild higher numbers if built right.

b18b from 94-01 ls integra and then boost

145Hp 127Trq 9.4 Compression (JDM)
142Hp 127Trq 9.2 Compression (USDM)

a gsr motor has alittle over 30 more hp but less torque and higher compession

its all in whether u wanna follow everyone elses shoes or be different theres also different b,k,f,h series motors available

Well i would say it depends on how much work you are willing to do, swapping in a b18c1 + turbo would be very fast and more on the easy side, otherwise you could do like an h22 or a k24 but those will be quite a bit harder in terms of swapping but that should yield more power

Yeah, if money is no option go with a K series. Probably K24/K20. k20a.org has some great info on that swap.

if money is no option i agree with snoops

the k series is the new b series

the power a k series can make with minor work done to the head and your basic bolt ons is outstanding and far surpasses the equivalent mods on a b series
