you guys are thinking of the obvious ground.

I'm talking about the one that is next to your intake manifold on your engine harness that bolts to the top of the thermostat housing area, usually people unbolt that to get to the tranny bolt coz it's in the way. I can snap a picture tonight if needed.


either way, both of them should be connected properly.

OK, well the car finally started. After putting in a new clutch should it seem like it is slipping at all until it is broken in?

That should have nothing to do with starting it. Unless the clutch release fork isn't attached correctly. Does the pedal feel normal? When you try to move the clutch release with your hand is there any abnormal movement?

You're not smelling any clutch burning after running the car are you?
