well why do i hear about all these civics beating domestics then? what do they have done to their car. My friend has an almost stock Ex and he says he can take them with no problem most of the time. Whys he different and not me?

And what plan should i go in order to beat him? I know its possible somehow. Im getting sick of him thinking hes all faster than me.

And are you saying hes going to be hard to beat with the head and cam work? Maybe you all misunderstood, he doesnt have that done yet, so hes stock right now. Hes doing that sometime this summer. So hes just stock right now.

be content with the fact that your car is also slow as piss and will never be fast without a crapload of money dumped into it. even v6 auto stangs will whoop you.

 

it's depend on wht v6 car u r racing. i beat my friend's taurus v6 auto easy w/ my 95 dx. but than it only has like around 180 whp or so. tht's no suprise, cuz mine is manual and i've done some mods. but dude, ws6 is out of the league. u have to spend alot...... alot i tell ya

 

If you want power do a GSR swap. That will cost $3000-3800. It will give you about 180 bhp. if you want to go big do a k series. With a k20a2 your lookin at about 200bhp but the cost is $7000-8000 and will take more knowlege and effort then a normal swap. The best thing to do is surf these fourms and learn as much as you can so that when you do have money you can do what you want.
