Default so what ecu do u run with ur swap?

im getting a whole jdm b16a swap, minus the ecu for $2100. the guy wants to keep the p30 for his next project. so now im deciding btw a p28 ($120), which im eventually gonna chip, or a p72 ($250!!!!). any thoughts?

Won't you need a DOHC ECU?

I run a p72 on my B18C1 swap.. I suggest you go with the ECU that matches the swap. JMO

i want something that plugs in and has a vtec controller. it doesnt need to be from a dohc, but the fuel maps wont be optimal. the p28 just ALOT cheaper and easier to get.

get the p28 and then chipped right away otherwise it wont run its full potential. since its mapped out for a sohc vtec motor. or try to find another p30.

im runnin a dinan chipped p30 with my b16a3. runs clean.

Yup. P30 or chipped p28.
