As I'm sure many of you do, I was board today, so I started looking around and exploring my car. I noticed what appeared to be an accessory panel (or some sort of panel) on the dead center of my dashboard (this is a '98 I'm talking about) right under the windshield. What is the point of it? Nothing is in it? Was their an option that would have gone there, or does this go down with the arm rest accessory panels as mysteries of the Civic??

 

Pic? Might be A/C vents to aim at back?

 

hmmm...maybe. Its located directly between the right and left vents along the windshield. I can take a pic when I get home from work.

 

i know which panel you're talking about, there's a screw under it. to hold down the dash, im guessing. there's also a space to run wires under the panel

i always thought it would be cool to hardwire a radar dector thru it.
