i dont think it does for daily driving, but it feels nice with some urethane bushings. the ones that skunk make are made of steel, the ebay ones you find are aluminum, ive seen those snap, but ive also heard the steel ones can also snap, but id rather take my chances with the steel one.

I've heard that short shifters are good in combination with the omni clutch cylinder. I have a skunk2 short shifter on my civic and I wouldn't have it any other way. I dont know what you mean by "would it help that much?"... You'll notice the difference when shifting tho, but it wont add any hp, if thats what u mean

shifter position. The dual bend sits the shift ball a little lower and a little further back towards the driver. I find it to be a much more comfortable and much easier shift position.

belive it or not the dual bend has a shorter throw then a single bend. so if you have a sohc you have that long throw from gear to gear and if you notice in a dohc the throw is shorter, due to the fact of the dual bend. so if you want you can just get a gsr shifter or ls, b16, mount it on you sohc for a shorter throw. (if you low on cash) (still oem ) or just fork out the money for a skunk 2 or a b&M.
