well im curious what you have to do to fit the gathers rear speaker panels into an eg hatch...the 4 speaker ones that is, because the cover panel doesnt have the bend that the stock blank panels have...i dont know if they fit in or not...can someone help? pictures the speaker panels i want so people know what im talking about...

to fit the jdm gathers rear dual speaker setup, you must have the full eg6 rear interior to do so, cuz as you found out the contour of the speakers is different from the usdm setup. however, there is hope, from time to time on ebay and various other places that carry edm civic stuff, you can get the edm gathers dual speaker setup that will fit into usdm speaker slots. it has the same shape and contour as the usdm rear speaker setup but its hard to find. good luck.

hey i've been doing research on the rear speakers. I want to put some rear speakers too.
if you go to a hondapartscheap.com and look for the bracket or rear speaker cover, you might be able to do something with the dual speakers. when i do my rear speakers i'll try to post a pic.
remember if you do get the jdm rear panels, you won't be able to use a rear hatch cover. On the rear cover I was able to put some 6x9's. Sounds good.

 

why wont you be able to use the rear hatch cover?

 

from what i read and saw pics from passwordjdm.com, i guess the jdm rear panels wasn't design for the interior hatch cover (trunk cover). Passowrdjdm.com got cool jdm parts for your eg6.
