Default knocking in my car while driving

ok, so i have a problem with my car, first of all: its a 1993 Del Sol S all stock.

when im driving i hear some wierd knocking. whenever i accelerate from a dead stop or when i first hit the brake to slow down, i hear that knock. and when i have my foot down on the little foot rest third pedal looking thing, i can actually feel the knock a little bit. it sound like, and this might sound wierd, there is a little guy right by my wheel with a little hammer that gives my wheel well a tap whenever i speed up or slow down. anyone ever have this problem or know what it is?

i dont know if the pass side does it too havent really checked it out yet. also i would like to report that (and i dont know if this matters) i do have all 4 strut bars, front upper and lower and rear upper and lower.

thanks
Carlos

That was going to be my second guess. Would a dying cv joint become evident while driving in a straight line or only while turning? I can't seem to remember symptoms of each one.

cv boot, not so much.

but the last time I had to replace my drivers axle, you could tell it was causing problems every time I was pressing the gas, letting off, etc. plus, there was a little loss in power (I almost thought there was something wrong with my tranny at first).
