Actually, you could just turbo a B16A and net 12s with that baby. Don't see why you have to spend an extra 1k for 0.2L more, when that 1k could go to a turbo kit.

Yea but theres nothings better then blowing it off to some unsuspecting rice boy Oh whats yalls opinion when it comes to a B18c1 vs a B16.....There both great engines but when it comes to high b00st which one is REALLY better?

For boost, I'd go with an Ls or a H22... Lower compression pistons on the Ls and strong ass block on the h22... Research, don't ask. You need to find people's built up stories and why they went wrong. look at www.homemadeturbo.com and look at how that guy killed a ton of engines, and why. That'll tell you what you need to do right before you do it wrong.

B18c1 is worse for boost cause of the higher compression and the square combustion chamber where the b16 has less compressio and a round combustion chamber

Torque is what kicks your ass. Your Civic could have 400hp but if it's only got 200ft-lbs of Torque the Trans Am with 350ft-lbs of Torque and only 325hp would whoop it's ass.

Hehe thats what I was gonna post.

B18B+boost. Inexpensive. Produces a lot of power.

Ummmm. You've been misinformed. Although the B18C is 10:1, the B16 is higher.

high compression doesn't necessarily mean you can't boost.

you just have less room for error
