first en'
well im about to be the ripe age of 16,lol,and im looking to sink my teeth into my first tuner car,and im looking to yall to help me with some suggestions, not that i dont know what a good car is or anything, but i want to hear from the ppl,i been working with cars since i was 12 so i know a thing or two about cars, but heres my pickiness kicking in
-I dont want to do Motor Swaps, nothing personal or too challenging,i just don't think i need to do one for my first car,i need to get to know a car personally
-I dont mind if its going to be turbo or not,i probably wont
-The car needs to be about 2500 or below in price and be standard
-Needs good aftermarket support
any good suggestions? Not just hondas or whatever, any ideas
too quote Ricky Bobby "I wanna go fast!"

well i guess you have a point,i mean i can always slap on mods, while saving money on side to rebuild it sometime in the future, over time, does that sound like a good plan, just do the obvious performance, exterior, interior mods then rebuild it....
i believe you will have a hard time finding a honda or nissan or toyota with low miles, old and for 2500 that doesnt have something messed up on it. either the motor will be fubar'd, the tranny will be junk or the body is crushed up like a coke can. (i dont know about you, but im not a good paint and body girl, id prefer the fubar'd motor or junked tranny) either you can crack open your piggy bank or be prepared to possibly swap out motors and/or trannys. prices are going to be higher too if youre wanting a standard! a lot of ppl are doing their research now and are jacking up the price on some of your manual tranny nissans, hondas and toyotas. search around a LOT, hopefully you will find that joe blow or that granny thats selling their old car dirt cheap.
i always though standards are cheaper,if you look at them lil black books at car dealerships its like deduct 350 if standard, but w/e.....naw i realized i dont mind the miles,im pretty much changing lot of engine(valves, retainers, cams, pulleys, valve rods, all the good stuff) so i mean and i can get transmission easily,i live near a ghetto country junkyard,so if they have civics, the engines will be shot or sold, but transmission will still be there,so i think this is a good plan
