Around here I know a guy who does swaps and it would cost me around $4100 for a b18c1 installed...

go with b18c1 man. i promise you won't regret it. when i put my b18c1 in my 5th gen ex, i raced a friend w/ a b16 hatch with quite a few mods, including full exhaust, header, ecu chip, lsd, type r valvetrain etc, and he only beat me by approximately 1/4 car. this is pretty good considering i still had my stock civic exhaust choking that gsr motor.

i paid 3,600 installed for my swap.

b16a2 is the underdog for a swap. you're gonna atleast want 1.8 dohc. $1000 in mods won't catch a b16a2 up to a b18c1

one word.

hell, CRV is faster than GSR when you're talking about swaps. no vtec needed.
