Default Civic emission problems

Hey i was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to lower my idle emissions on a 95 civic d15 vtec? The required idle emissions it 1.2 @ and idle of 930rpms i ran a 1.25 so i was off 0.05 not much but enough to keep me from receiving tags.

Yea im currently running the seafoam. The engine is in my 88 crx and i replaced the stock exhaust manifold with an after market header. But i would imagine a point 0.05 emissions is so minuet that some small mechanical adjustment or fuel treatment would fix my problem...????

your only working with 1.2 anyway. It's already a small number.

true, true, i was thinking possible spark plugs maybe get some replacement NGK's and set the gap that should shave a little carbon. The o2 is fine recently replaced and yes it was properly installed. However it has been a while since the last oil change.....

plugs, cap, rotor, air filter, change oil and run a can of BG 44K through it (drive it hard). Use dealer parts.

Oil & filter, plus air filter will most likely do it if you haven't changed any of them in a while. If you have a stock air filter, you can always try to run without an air filter but I wouldn't recommend it if there is any dust etc. around.
