Big Brake kit Recomendation
Thanks for the responses. You guys are probably right that they are not justified, considering I have no engine mods. I do plan on doing some engine modding some day, but I would like to improve its handling and stopping performance first for safety sake. (I know, Im sissy
).
My del sol is the one with the b16a3.

I thought you had the Del Sol VTEC, that came stock with 4 wheel disk brakes. The Del Sol S has a d15 in it and you definently DO NOT need any kind of enhanced braking for that POS.
i have a turbo gsr in my si making about 300whp at 9.5 psi and all i did was went with some drilled and slotted brembo's with semi metalic brake pads and braided steel lines and it almost stoppes as good as my roomates tt supra with project u's so its pretty damn good i think you are going to need alot more power to require a big break kit but dont get me wrong i would deffinatly sport one if the cash was there
Like I mentioned b4, I plan on building this thing up in the future, and I am aiming for around 300hp. I should also mention that I have a 92 cx hatch with 142k miles. Once that engine dies, that b16 is going in there I will be getting a new motor for the Del sol. I have about a 5k budget to spend on the motor swap and buildup. For now, I am more concerned about safety and handling.
Thanks again for the advice guys.
