take the cat off...im assuming the o2 sensor your talking about is that one...take the cat to a shop that has air tools and see if they cant get it out....alot of times a air tool can spin fast enough to get a bolt/nut loose even if its stripped...only other thing i can think of is vise grips and patience....use alot of wd40...spray the o2 sensor prior to trying to remove it like 4 times every 5 mins with wd40 that should help alot

its the one on the header (and i think that is the only one in a del sol). and i have a compressor and an impact, didnt come out!! wd40, used alot and let it soke for a while, so now i have a half rounded off oxygen sensor on my header, and i couldnt get ahold of it good enough with vise grips

I tried to get my O2 off in my 1995 Civic I had, and I couldn't do it myself.
I used tons of PB Buster (penetrating oil) from the makers of SeaFoam, and still... No luck.

I took it in and they said they couldn't get it out, so they replaced my exhaust manifold and the O2 sensor.

Although I am skeptical, I'm not surprised.

no, just dont burn the wires up, try this first, start the car up and let it run for a little till it warms up then try to take it off while its warm, (exhaust metals will try to bond together after a while do too all the heat) what the torch will do is break through the rust, and the bond

I actually have a D-series OBD-1 exhaust manifold that came off of my civic. Want it?

Use a bolt out kit from Sears. Costs about $60.
